Marathon Nextgen Realty surges as its arm secures Rs 450 crore redevelopment project in Mumbai

Marathon Nextgen Realty is currently trading at Rs. 425.00, up by 6.10 points or 1.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 418.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 418.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 434.00 and Rs. 418.30 respectively. So far 1500 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 774.55 on 17-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 368.40 on 16-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 434.00 and Rs. 392.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2865.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.83% and 23.80% respectively.

Marathon Nextgen Realty’s subsidiary -- Sunset Spaces has executed a Development Agreement for the redevelopment of the society located at Versova, Mumbai. The agreement marks the company’s foray into society redevelopment, building on the company's experience in larger-format real estate development and complex urban renewal projects.

The project comprises the redevelopment of an existing residential society situated on land admeasuring around 1.5 acres, with an estimated Gross Development Value / revenue potential of over Rs 450 crore, subject to receipt of requisite approvals, final plans, applicable regulations and market conditions.

The project is being planned as a differentiated, relatively low-density residential redevelopment for the Versova micro-market. This approach is expected to enable a higher proportion of open and landscaped spaces compared with typical high-density redevelopment projects in the area, creating a more spacious and amenity-led residential environment. Under the terms of the agreement, Sunset Spaces will undertake the planning, approvals, design, construction and execution of the redevelopment project in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and the mutually agreed terms with the society.
