Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund files offer document for Equity Long-Short Fund
Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch an open-ended equity investment strategy named ‘MSIF Equity Long-Short Fund'. The New Fund Offer price will be Rs 10 during the NFO. Entry load will be nil. Exit Load will be 0.5% is payable if units are redeemed / switched out up to 3 months from date of allotment; and Nil if units are redeemed / switched out after 3 months from the date of allotment. The Scheme offers growth and IDCW options for investment and seeks to collect a Minimum Target Amount of Rs 10 crore.
The performance will be benchmarked against NIFTY 500 TRI. The minimum application amount will be Rs 10,00,000 and in multiple of Rs 1 thereafter.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in listed equity and equity related instruments while selectively employing tactical short positions through derivatives to provide risk-adjusted returns across market cycles.
