Magellanic Cloud zooms as its arm secures LoA worth Rs 8.90 crore
Magellanic Cloud is currently trading at Rs. 28.67, up by 1.81 points or 6.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 26.86 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 26.77 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 29.12 and Rs. 26.77 respectively. So far 3.37 lakh shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 90.47 on 21-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 19.43 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 29.62 and Rs. 26.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,688.86 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.23% and 45.72% respectively.
Magellanic Cloud’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Provigil Surveillance has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL), Ahmedabad, for a contract valued at Rs 8.90 crore. Notably, this LoA comes within a week of Provigil Surveillance having received another order from DFCCIL, underscoring the growing confidence placed by the PSU major in Provigil's capabilities. The order further strengthens the company's growing order book and adds another significant critical infrastructure project to its portfolio.
Under the contract, Provigil Surveillance will undertake the Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Operations & Maintenance (SITC and O&M) of an IP-based CCTV surveillance system on an OPEX model for a period of five years across DFCCIL locations between New Palanpur and New Gothangam, under the CGM/ADI Unit, Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC). The scope includes remote video monitoring, asset protection, perimeter security, command and control centre infrastructure and associated surveillance systems. The contract has been awarded in the ordinary course of business and is aligned with the company's core focus on delivering integrated surveillance, security and technology solutions.
