Lupin inches up on launching world's first triple combination drug 'Formoflo-G MDI' for COPD in India

Lupin has launched Formoflo-G MDI, the world's first fixed-dose triple combination metered-dose inhaler (MDI) for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in India, following approval from the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). The launch marks a significant advancement in respiratory care, expanding treatment options for patients living with COPD.
The company’s Formoflo-G is a first-of-its-kind MDI that combines Glycopyrronium Bromide, Formoterol Fumarate and Fluticasone Propionate for the long-term management and treatment of moderate to severe COPD. The product is available as a twice-daily, single-strength fixed dose, bringing hope to more than 55 million people living with COPD in India, a condition that remains a leading cause of death and disability.
