Lloyds Metals & Energy shines on emerging as successful bidder for coal mine

Lloyds Metals & Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1432.00, up by 36.30 points or 2.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 1395.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1421.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1447.95 and Rs. 1415.60 respectively. So far 6297 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1613.40 on 01-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 734.10 on 11-Sep-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1475.10 and Rs. 1352.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 73475.05 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.44%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.26% and 32.31% respectively.
Lloyds Metals & Energy has emerged as successful bidder for the Tandsi - III and Tandsi - III Extension coking coal mine, securing the project with a premium of 10.5%. Located on the Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra border, around 400 kilometers from Ghugus, the mine spans an area of around 338 hectares and holds estimated total reserves of 23 million metric tonnes.
It is planned to be developed using a combination of opencast and underground mining methods, with a proposed production capacity of up to 0.30 million tonnes per annum over a four-year development timeline.
