Lemon Tree Hotels gains on signing new property in Gujarat
Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 123.35, up by 1.40 points or 1.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 121.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 122.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 123.35 and Rs. 121.55 respectively. So far 63307 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 158.05 on 06-May-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 100.75 on 26-Oct-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 127.30 and Rs. 121.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9701.06 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 22.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.81% and 34.39% respectively.
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed new property -- Lemon Tree Hotel, Sasan Gir, Gujarat. The property, which shall be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, is expected to open in FY 2026.
Lemon Tree Hotel, Sasan Gir, Gujarat, will feature 74 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a meeting room, a banquet hall, a swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness center. Keshod Airport is around 60 kms from the property while the Diu Airport is at a distance of 100 kms and Hirasar Rajkot International Airport is 180 kms away. The nearest railway stations, Junagadh and Veraval, are around 50 km and 45 km away, respectively. The hotel is also well-connected by road, making it accessible by both public and private transport.
Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
