Lemon Tree Hotels gains on signing new hotel in Tamil Nadu

Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 118.35, up by 1.65 points or 1.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 116.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 117.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 118.90 and Rs. 116.10 respectively. So far 64712 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 180.60 on 08-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 99.70 on 16-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 123.05 and Rs. 106.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9304.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 22.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.26% and 40.43% respectively.

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed Lemon Tree Hotel, Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu. The hotel will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. The Hotel will feature 66 well-appointed rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, swimming pool, spa and fitness center.

The property is located approximately 101 km from Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) International Airport, offering an accessible drive of under two hours. For rail commuters, the hotel is situated just 300 meters from the Kumbakonam Railway Station, ensuring a highly convenient 5-minute transit for arriving guests.

With this signing, the company further strengthens its presence in Tamil Nadu and expands its footprint across key cultural, tourism, and commercial destinations in South India. This milestone addition brings the group’s footprint in the state to eight hotels, comprising six operational and two upcoming properties, including this hotel.
