Landmark Cars gains on getting nod to take over Kia India workshop in Hyderabad

Landmark Cars is currently trading at Rs. 444.95, up by 6.25 points or 1.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 438.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 442.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 445.15 and Rs. 438.25 respectively. So far 751 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 778.00 on 17-May-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 306.05 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 446.65 and Rs. 420.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1830.01 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.56%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.46% and 24.98% respectively.
Landmark Cars has received an in-principal approval from Kia India to take over an existing workshop in Hyderabad. It had acquired the Showroom business of the same dealer couple of months back. This workshop will operate under Landmark Premium Cars. With this workshop, Landmark Cars will be able to cater to the large car parc of Kia in Hyderabad as well as increase its business from After Sales services to achieve long term growth trajectory.
While this acquisition is based on Company’s philosophy of reducing competition tactically, this expansion also strengthens Landmark’s footprint in the city of Hyderabad.
