KPI Green Energy surges on signing power purchase agreement

KPI Green Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1796.00, up by 38.15 points or 2.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 1757.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1820.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1837.00 and Rs. 1731.50 respectively. So far 16881 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1895.95 on 26-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 259.03 on 29-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1895.95 and Rs. 1575.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 10844.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.08%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.05% and 38.87% respectively.

KPI Green Energy has signed a Power Purchase agreement (PPA) for 200MWAC (240MWp) grid connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Project won through competitive bidding process vide RFS No. Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL)/800 MW/Khavda/Solar (Phase XX) dated May 20, 2023 issued by GUVNL for Procurement of Power from 800 MW grid connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Projects located in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation (GSECL) Solar Park at Khavda (GSECL Stage 2) with Greenshoe option of additional capacity upto 800MW has been signed and executed with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.
