Karur Vysya Bank rises on expanding presence in southern India, Delhi NCR with 16 new branches

Karur Vysya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 349.30, up by 3.35 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 345.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 349.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 351.00 and Rs. 344.85 respectively. So far 41674 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 358.40 on 26-Aug-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 201.80 on 04-Sep-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 358.40 and Rs. 334.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 33786.64 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 2.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 59.14% and 38.79% respectively.

Karur Vysya Bank has expanded its presence across key markets by opening 16 new branches, further deepening its footprint across southern India and Delhi NCR. With the latest expansion, the Bank’s branch network stands at 919 across the country. The new branches include six in Tamil Nadu, five in Andhra Pradesh, three in Telangana and one each in Karnataka and Delhi NCR.

The expansion is part of the Bank’s strategy to deepen its presence across metropolitan, urban, semi-urban and rural markets. The new branches will cater to retail customers as well as MSMEs and agricultural businesses, while complementing the Bank’s growing digital banking network.

Alongside its branch network, the Bank continues to strengthen its digital banking offerings. Its mobile banking application, KVB DLite, offers more than 150 financial and non-financial services, giving customers access to a wide range of banking services through their mobile phones.
