Kamat Hotels (India) surges after opening new hotel in Panjab

Kamat Hotels (India) is currently trading at Rs 269.50, up by 4.95 points or 1.87% from its previous closing of Rs 264.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 270.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 275.00 and Rs 267.00 respectively. So far 15611 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 353.40 on 18-Mar-2025 and a 52-week low of Rs 176.00 on 25-Oct-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 275.00 and Rs 238.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 797.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.54% and 37.68% respectively.

The hotel offers 122 elegantly designed rooms across five categories: Deluxe, Deluxe Twin, Club, Premier and Suite, many with private balconies and scenic views. For private events, the hotel features more than 6,500 square feet of banquet space, including a 752 square foot private dining area suitable for both intimate and grand gatherings.
