JSW Steel rises on reporting 9% rise in consolidated crude steel production in October 2025
JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 1177.00, up by 5.25 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 1171.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1174.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1178.50 and Rs. 1171.45 respectively. So far 11945 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1223.75 on 29-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 879.60 on 13-Jan-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1217.25 and Rs. 1152.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 287756.57 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.93% and 17.75% respectively.
JSW Steel has reported consolidated crude steel production for the month of October 2025 at 24.95 lakh tonnes as compared to 22.81 lakh tonnes in October 2024, higher by 9% Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y).
The company reported crude steel production of 24.12 lakh tonnes from Indian Operations in October 2025 over 21.99 lakh tonnes in October 2024, increased by 10%. The capacity utilisation of Indian operations was at 83%, lower due to shutdown of Blast Furnace 3 (BF3) at Vijayanagar for upgradation of capacity to 4.5 MTPA from 3.0 MTPA. JSW Steel USA - Ohio’s crude steel production stood at 0.83 lakh tonnes in October 2025.
