JSW Energy soars after raising Rs 1200 crore via NCDs

JSW Energy is currently trading at Rs. 498.10, up by 16.75 points or 3.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 481.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 479.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 498.40 and Rs. 479.95 respectively. So far 84576 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 804.95 on 24-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 419.10 on 17-Feb-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 498.40 and Rs. 442.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 85815.43 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.60% and 6.08% respectively.
JSW Energy has raised Rs 1200 crore through the allotment of 1,20,000 unsecured, rated, listed, taxable, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of Rs 1,00,000 on a private placement basis. The Finance Committee of the company, at its meeting held on March 4, 2025, approved the allotment of the same.
