ITC moves up on acquiring remaining 52.5% stake in Sproutlife for Rs 645 crore

ITC is currently trading at Rs. 266.00, up by 0.90 points or 0.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 265.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 265.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 266.35 and Rs. 263.20 respectively. So far 160292 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 426.50 on 31-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 256.25 on 31-Aug-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 271.05 and Rs. 263.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 332434.62 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 83.40% and 16.60% stake in the company, respectively.

ITC has acquired 13,445 equity shares (through secondary purchase), representing 52.5% of total shareholding, of Sproutlife Foods (Sproutlife) for a consideration of around Rs 645 crore. With this, the company has completed the acquisition of 100% of the entire share capital of Sproutlife. Accordingly, Sproutlife has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company with effect from September 28, 2026.

Sproutlife is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling food products under the trademark ‘Yoga Bar’. Positioned as a digital first brand, Yoga Bar has high salience of on-line sales (D2C, e-commerce platforms etc.) with growing presence in offline stores.
