ITC declines on reporting 7% fall in Q3 consolidated net profit

ITC is currently trading at Rs. 431.25, down by 10.15 points or 2.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 441.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 441.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 445.30 and Rs. 429.65 respectively. So far 484985 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 500.01 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 399.30 on 12-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 471.30 and Rs. 429.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 539538.12 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 85.13% and 14.88% stake in the company respectively. 

ITC has reported marginal rise in its net profit at Rs 5638.25 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25) as compared to Rs 5572.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.66% at Rs 19376.86 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 17997.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 7.28% fall in its net profit at Rs 5013.18 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 5406.52 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 8.48% at Rs 20945.82 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 19308.85 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
