Interarch Expands Manufacturing Footprint; Commissions New Box Column Line in Uttarakhand and commissions Phase 2 of its Andhra Pradesh Unit for Pre- Engineered Steel Buildings

Interarch Building Solutions Limited (BSE: 544232 | NSE: INTERARCH), a leader in turnkey pre- engineered and Multi Storey steel buildings construction, announced two major milestones in its manufacturing expansion journey: the commissioning of Phase 2 of its Andhra Pradesh unit dedicated to Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs), and the commissioning of a new state-of-the-art Box Column Line at its Kichha facility in Uttarakhand. These expansions are expected to create over 200 direct and indirect jobs, further boosting regional industrial growth. The total investment in both has been to the tune of Rs. 53 Crores.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Nanda, Managing Director, Interarch Building Solutions Limited, said: “The commissioning of the second phase of our plant in Andhra Pradesh marks a proud and historic moment in Interarch’s journey. It Now makes AP plant our 4th fully integrated PEB plant in India. This reinforces our commitment to supporting India’s next wave of industrial growth in sectors like Renewables, Automobiles, Electronics, EV infra, and FMCG. With this facility, we are scaling capacity, creating employment, and strengthening our position as a leader in pre-engineered and Multi Storey/heavy steel structures.”

At Athivaram Village in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, The Phase 2 of the plant is having an installed capacity of 25,000 MT per annum and has been set up with an approx. investment of Rs 32 crore. With this expansion, the Andhra Pradesh facility has evolved into a fully integrated and complete PEB plant. Strategically located near major industrial corridors and ports, the facility will cater to high-growth sectors such as Renewables, EV sector, Semiconductor manufacturing, e- commerce, warehousing, data centers, automotive and infrastructure projects across South and West of India.
At its Kichha facility in Uttarakhand, Interarch commissioned a new Box Column Line, particularly for multi storey buildings and expanding its annual installed production capacity by 15000 MT per annum from this unit, backed by an investment of Rs 21 crore. The advanced line features automation and precision tooling to manufacture large-format box sections (up to 1500 x 1500 mm from 50 mm thick plates), known for their superior torsional strength, corrosion resistance, and versatility in high-rise and multi-storey steel buildings. This upgrade enhances Interarch’s capabilities in delivering high-rise buildings, data centres and other large scale & complex steel structures.
With these two developments, Interarch has reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ vision. The company now operates multiple state-of-the-art facilities with integrated design, engineering, and project management capabilities, serving diverse sectors.
