Indian Hotels rises on expanding in South Africa with three luxury wildlife lodges

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 768.30, up by 5.90 points or 0.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 762.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 766.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 770.90 and Rs. 760.00 respectively. So far 13677 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 894.15 on 30-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 507.45 on 04-Jun-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 782.95 and Rs. 756.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 109319.60 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.14% and 15.75% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed three luxury wildlife lodges under its iconic Taj brand in the Balule Game Reserve, Kruger National Park in South Africa. This signing marks IHCL’s entry into luxury wildlife hospitality in South Africa. The three luxury lodges, the 30-key Taj Lion Kings Hilltop Tented Camp, the 6-key Taj Lion Kings Bush Lodge, and the 6-key Taj Lion Kings River Lodge will be set amidst the wilderness and offer elevated safari experiences. Each lodge will feature an all-day dining restaurant, spa, swimming pool, and recreation areas, blending comfort with the authenticity of the African wilderness.
