Indian Hotels Company surges on signing new 160 key greenfield hotel in Jaipur

Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 750.10, up by 10.75 points or 1.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 739.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 737.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 752.70 and Rs. 736.95 respectively. So far 59237 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 894.15 on 30-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 571.15 on 19-Jul-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 757.15 and Rs. 735.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 106892.64 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.14% and 15.75% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed new 160-key greenfield hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan, which will be under Vivanta brand. This signing aligns with IHCL's strategy to expand its presence in such high-growth micro markets of metros and state capitals across India. 

Fuelled by major infrastructure developments, Jaipur has rapidly evolved as a key regional hub, significantly boosting demand from business and MICE segments apart from the long-established leisure segment. 

Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, midmarket and value segments of the market.
