Indian Hotels Company rises on signing Taj resort in Rajasthan
The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 738.45, up by 1.10 points or 0.15% from its previous closing of Rs. 737.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 736.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 739.30 and Rs. 734.50 respectively. So far 3758 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 894.15 on 30-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 651.30 on 24-Oct-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 748.90 and Rs. 734.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 104857.14 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.68% and 16.21% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a resort in Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan under the iconic Taj brand. This is a greenfield project. Nestled amidst the wilderness, the 75-key eco-sensitive wildlife resort is designed to reflect the natural beauty of its surroundings. It will feature thoughtfully curated accommodations including suites, villas with private courtyards and plunge pools. Culinary experiences will include an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a safari lounge
The resort will also offer meeting spaces, a heated swimming pool, Taj’s signature J Wellness Circle spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and Niu & Nau, the salon. In line with IHCL’s ESG+ framework of Paathya, the resort will integrate solar-powered amenities, rainwater harvesting systems and locally sourced sustainable materials.
