Indian Hotels Company rises on signing new Vivanta hotel in Uttarakhand

ndian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 577.85, up by 7.40 points or 1.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 570.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 571.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 578.05 and Rs. 564.30 respectively. So far 17576 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 602.75 on 23-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 302.30 on 28-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 602.75 and Rs. 564.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 81754.83 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.61% and 16.28% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed a new Vivanta hotel in Uttarakhand’s ancient pilgrim city of Haridwar. The hotel is a Greenfield project. The 125-keys hotel is strategically located at a comfortable driving distance from the renowned ‘Har Ki Pauri’ as well as prominent temples. The hotel will feature an all-day diner, a swimming pool and a fitness centre. It will also offer a sophisticated banqueting space of over 7,500 sq. ft, perfect for both corporate gatherings and social events.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 10 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands in Uttarakhand including 5 under development.
