Indian Hotels Company rises on foraying in Diu with launch of SeleQtions and Gateway brands

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 751.80, up by 7.35 points or 0.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 744.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 749.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 756.45 and Rs. 737.00 respectively. So far 31102 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 894.15 on 30-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 507.45 on 04-Jun-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 764.95 and Rs. 708.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 106864.17 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.34% and 15.54% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has forayed in Diu with the launch of SeleQtions and Gateway brands. The two greenfield hotel projects are located in proximity to Diu Fort and will be operated under IHCL's SeleQtions and Gateway brands will be 33-key and 103-key, respectively.
In addition to these two hotels, IHCL operates Ginger Diu, Jalandhar Beach and in the coming year, it will introduce a restaurant housed in Panikotha Fort showcasing vegetarian delicacies of the region.
