Indian Hotels Company moves up on signing Taj-branded hotel in Himachal Pradesh
The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 744.40, up by 3.55 points or 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 740.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 740.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 749.90 and Rs. 740.80 respectively. So far 8850 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 894.15 on 30-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 595.00 on 06-Aug-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 755.10 and Rs. 735.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 105454.98 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.69% and 16.19% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed Taj-branded hotel in Naina Tikker, Himachal Pradesh. This is a brownfield project. The 120-key Taj Naina Tikker, Himachal Pradesh will offer uninterrupted views of the majestic Dhauladhar mountain range. Guests can experience a rich culinary journey at the all-day dining restaurant, and the specialty restaurant, or unwind at the bar, and lobby lounge.
The resort will house an expansive banquet hall of 4,000 sq.ft. along with meeting rooms and pre-function areas. Wellness and recreation amenities include a heated swimming pool, gym, health club, spa and an activity centre, making it ideal for both leisure and group travel.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 13 hotels in Himachal Pradesh, including 8 under development.
