Indian Hotels Company inches up on signing new hotel in Jammu & Kashmir
The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 727.65, up by 1.35 points or 0.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 726.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 725.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 734.95 and Rs. 724.15 respectively. So far 1668 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 894.15 on 30-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 672.55 on 07-Nov-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 740.95 and Rs. 717.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 103383.88 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.68% and 16.21% respectively.
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed new hotel under its Gateway brand in Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir. This is a conversion project with plans for future expansion. Nestled amidst the serene landscapes, the 78-key Gateway Patnitop, Jammu & Kashmir will offer guests an immersive experience of the region’s natural beauty. The resort will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a bar. Guests can enjoy two swimming pools, including a heated pool, a state-of-the-art fitness centre and treatment rooms. For social and corporate gatherings, the resort offers spacious banquet hall spanning over 4,000 sq. ft.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 12 hotels in Jammu & Kashmir, including 6 under development.
