India Cements rises on inking pact to acquire 12.48% stake in FPEL Services

The India Cements is currently trading at Rs. 382.55, up by 6.00 points or 1.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 376.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 370.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 386.55 and Rs. 370.45 respectively. So far 7243 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 489.65 on 19-Jan-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 297.55 on 20-Jun-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 410.15 and Rs. 369.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11865.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.38% and 8.62% respectively.

The India Cements has entered into Energy Supply Agreement and Share Subscription and Shareholders Agreement to acquire 12.48% equity shares of FPEL Services, a company engaged in generation and transmission of renewable energy. The acquisition is for the purposes of meeting the company’s green energy needs, optimising energy cost and comply with regulatory requirements for captive power consumption under electricity laws.

The acquisition, valued at Rs 10.78 crore, is expected to be completed within 180 days from the execution of Energy Supply Agreement and Share Subscription and Shareholders Agreement.
