HUDCO surges on signing MoU with Government of Bihar
Housing & Urban Development Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 182.50, up by 4.60 points or 2.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 177.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 182.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 184.60 and Rs. 181.50 respectively. So far 248234 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 246.90 on 18-Nov-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 158.95 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 189.75 and Rs. 175.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36824.95 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.50% and 12.50% respectively.
Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bihar, on September 2, 2026 at Patna, Bihar. As per the MoU, HUDCO aims to provide financial assistance to the extent of Rs 25,000 crore, over a period of five years for development of industrial infrastructure including acquisition of land for the projects. The company shall provide funds on flexible terms and conditions, including a moratorium period with a flexible repayment schedule up to 25 years, with the option of prepayment.
