HUDCO soars on inking pact with IDF Foundation
Housing & Urban Development Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 233.25, up by 3.05 points or 1.32% from its previous closing of Rs. 230.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 230.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 233.95 and Rs. 230.05 respectively. So far 1858 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 263.95 on 17-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 158.90 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 246.90 and Rs. 228.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46083.74 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.86% and 12.14% respectively.
Housing & Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IDFC Foundation. Through this non-binding MoU, both parties intend to collaborate on capacity development initiatives for the urban sector in India. The collaboration aims at strengthening technical, financial, and leadership capacities across urban institutions, provide training and technical support for the implementation of national urban programmes/ schemes and the company’s Urban Invest Window (UiWIN). Further, the activities implemented by the parties shall engage wide range of the stakeholders including government and implementing agencies, academic & training Institutions and private sector & civil society.
HUDCO finances social housing and residential real estate through primarily lending to State Governments and their agencies, which, in turn, extend the finance to or utilise the finance for the ultimate individual beneficiaries.
