HUDCO gains on signing MoU with MPUDCL

Housing & Urban Development Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 232.25, up by 1.60 points or 0.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 230.65 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 232.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 234.10 and Rs. 231.55 respectively. So far 42153 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 353.95 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 158.90 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 234.10 and Rs. 224.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 46794.41 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.15% and 12.85% respectively.
Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company (MPUDCL), on July 11, 2025 at Indore.
The non-binding MoU has been signed to extend financial assistance for an amount of Rs 1,00,000 crore over a period of five years for various Housing and Infrastructure projects, in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The HUDCO will also extend Consultancy Services for the projects along with Capacity-Building support for their successful implementation.
HUDCO finances social housing and residential real estate through primarily lending to State Governments and their agencies, which, in turn, extend the finance to or utilise the finance for the ultimate individual beneficiaries.
