Hindalco Industries inches up on starting aluminium bicycle component manufacturing facility in Pune
Hindalco Industries is currently trading at Rs. 1011.40, up by 2.70 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 1008.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 999.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1014.40 and Rs. 985.50 respectively. So far 102367 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1179.35 on 29-May-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 635.35 on 19-Jun-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,038.85 and Rs. 969.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 227138.42 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.64%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.62% and 9.56% respectively.
Hindalco Industries has commissioned an aluminium bicycle component manufacturing facility at Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra. The facility will manufacture aluminium bicycle components, including frames, rigid forks, handlebars and wheel rims, for supply to domestic and international customers.
The facility is equipped with advanced manufacturing and finishing capabilities and has an annual production capacity of around 5,00,000 frames and forks, 7,50,000 handlebars, and 8,00,000 pairs of wheel rims. The project is part of the company's strategy to expand its portfolio of value-added aluminium products and mobility-related applications.
