HGS jumps as its broadband vertical signs MoU with STC for rollout of project GANGA

Hinduja Global Solutions is currently trading at Rs. 391.00, up by 43.50 points or 12.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 347.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 359.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 393.85 and Rs. 359.75 respectively. So far 5216 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 628.80 on 17-Jul-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 341.60 on 09-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 393.85 and Rs. 341.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1792.43 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.87% and 20.15% respectively.

Hinduja Global Solutions’ (HGS) broadband vertical -- OneOTT Intertainment (OIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Transformation Commission (STC), Government of Uttar Pradesh (UP), for the rollout of project GANGA (Government Assisted Network for Growth & Advancement), a large-scale digital inclusion initiative in the state.

Project GANGA is focused on empowering youth, enabling 8,000-10,000 local entrepreneurs at the Nyaya Panchayat level to operate as independent Digital Service Providers (DSPs) providing high speed broadband access across UP. The initiative, which is expected to include a significant number of women entrepreneurs will connect over 2 million households in the next 2-3 years and generate direct and indirect employment for more than 100,000 individuals. It will boost the governments initiatives of expanding digital education and healthcare. DSPs will receive structured support including training, financing assistance, network build-out and technology enablement.

OIL brings strong execution capabilities to project GANGA, supported by HGS and NXTDIGITAL’s national digital infrastructure footprint. Together, they connect more than 5 million homes across India and operate in over 4,500 pin codes spanning 1,500 cities and towns, working with 15,000+ franchise partners and leveraging over 2 lakh kilometres of fibre infrastructure
