Hero MotoCorp rises on reporting 8% rise in total sales in September

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 5493.00, up by 63.50 points or 1.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 5429.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 5507.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5507.10 and Rs. 5369.00 respectively. So far 12168 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5749.55 on 03-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3322.60 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5542.15 and Rs. 5271.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 109066.99 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.74%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.88% and 10.38% respectively.
Hero MotoCorp has dispatched 687,220 motorcycles and scooters in September 2025, reflecting an 7.88% growth compared to 637,050 motorcycles and scooters in September 2024. In the domestic business, the company sold 647,582 units in September 2025, while the company has exported 39,638 units during the same month.
Of the total sales, the company has sold 626,217 units of Motorcycles in the month of September 2025, a growth of 4.80% over 597,529 units sold in September 2024. Besides, the company has sold 61,003 units of Scooters in the reporting period, a rise of 54.36% over 39,521 units sold in the corresponding month of previous year.
The Company recorded 3.23 lakh VAHAN registrations this month, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 19%. The strong monthly dispatches contributed to a steady growth of 11.3% through Q2 FY26 compared to previous year, driven by the strategic diversification of the product portfolio into newer segments since the beginning of the financial year.
