Hero MotoCorp inches up on reporting 26% rise in total sales in January
Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 5516.00, up by 7.90 points or 0.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 5508.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 5578.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5578.90 and Rs. 5482.10 respectively. So far 574 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6390.00 on 05-Dec-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3322.60 on 07-Apr-2025.

Hero MotoCorp has dispatched 557,871 motorcycles and scooters in January 2026, reflecting an 25.97% growth compared to 442,873 motorcycles and scooters in January 2025. In the domestic business, the company sold 520,208 units in January 2026, while the company has exported 37,663 units during the same month.
Of the total sales, the company has sold 495,889 units of Motorcycles in the month of January 2026, a growth of 23.88% over 400,293 units sold in January 2025. Besides, the company has sold 61,982 units of Scooters in the reporting period, a rise of 45.57% over 42,580 units sold in the corresponding month of previous year.
The company also recorded 491,986 VAHAN registrations this month, reflecting healthy retail momentum across markets. The strong growth in January 2026 was driven by robust performance in the Scooter segment supported by growing consumer demand for new offerings such as Xoom and Destini. The motorcycle portfolio also witnessed strong traction, led by Xtreme and Glamour X.
