HEG zooms on acquiring 8.23% stake in GrafTech International

HEG is currently trading at Rs. 2322.55, up by 96.30 points or 4.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 2226.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2226.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2325.00 and Rs. 2215.00 respectively. So far 8078 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2744.60 on 22-May-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1466.85 on 26-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2436.60 and Rs. 2189.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8755.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.78%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.13% and 25.08% respectively.

HEG has acquired 8.23% stake in the shares of GrafTech International (Graftech), a NYSE Listed Company through Secondary Market Transactions/Overseas Portfolio Investment (OPI) scheme of Foreign Exchange Management (Overseas Investment) Rules, 2022.

The Company has also filed the required information with United States Securities and Exchange Commission under Securities Exchange Act of 1934.  Purchase of Shares through secondary market transactions/overseas portfolio investment scheme of Foreign Exchange Management (Overseas Investment) Rules, 2022 is for investment purpose. Total amount invested to the tune of Rs 248.62 crore.
