Great Eastern Shipping zooms on reporting near three-fold jump in Q4 consolidated net profit

The Great Eastern Shipping Company is currently trading at Rs. 1705.75, up by 173.70 points or 11.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 1532.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1544.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1720.00 and Rs. 1534.25 respectively. So far 746583 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,720.00 on 18-May-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 904.85 on 22-May-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,720.00 and Rs. 1,374.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24270.42 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.68% and 26.24% respectively.

Great Eastern Shipping Company has reported over three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 854.90 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 254.39 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 44.31% at Rs 1,332.10 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 923.11 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported near three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1,044.09 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 363.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company increased by 35.24% at Rs 1,857.23 crore for Q4FY26 as compared to Rs 1,373.24 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2026, the company has reported 8.78% rise in its net profit at Rs 2,356.46 crore as compared to Rs 2,166.25 crore for the previous year. However, the total income of the company has decreased by 6.22% at Rs 4,420.33 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 4,713.29 crore for year ended March 31, 2025
