GK Energy soars on getting LoE for execution of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Projects
GK Energy is currently trading at Rs. 139.75, up by 6.15 points or 4.60% from its previous closing of Rs. 133.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 138.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 144.35 and Rs. 137.90 respectively. So far 163635 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 239.45 on 23-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 87.54 on 02-Apr-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 144.35 and Rs. 122.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2816.12 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.46% and 12.34% respectively.
GK Energy has received a Letter of Empanelment (LoE) from a leading State Government-owned power distribution utility for execution of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Projects.
Under the said empanelment, the company has been allocated 1,00,000 Grid Connected Rooftop Solar photovoltaic project of 1 kW each, aggregating to 100 MW to be installed at 1,00,000 households, at a contract rate of Rs 45,450 per kW including GST, representing an aggregate contract value of around Rs 454.50 crore including GST. The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar PV systems along with O&M for a period of five years.
