GHCL rises on emerging as 'Preferred Bidder' for Kadaya limestone mineral block in Gujarat

GHCL is currently trading at Rs. 425.35, up by 1.55 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 423.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 431.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 431.50 and Rs. 422.90 respectively. So far 4051 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 668.00 on 30-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 414.60 on 16-Sep-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 431.65 and Rs. 418.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3925.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.83%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.64% and 46.53% respectively.

GHCL has been declared as the ‘Preferred Bidder’ by the Commissioner of Geology and Mining, Government of Gujarat for the allocation of a composite license for limestone mines of the Kadaya Block. The block is located at village Kadaya, Taluka Maliya Hatina, District Junagadh of Gujarat State. 

The composite license is for an area of 6.8797 hectares with 5,67,337 Metric Tonne of Limestone Mineral Reserve. The grant of the Letter of intent (LOI) for composite license of Limestone Mineral Block is subject to the submission of the Performance Security, as specified in the Tender Document, within 45 days of being declared as a Preferred Bidder.
