Genus Power Infrastructures touches roof as its arm gets LoAs worth Rs 3,608 crore

Genus Power Infrastructures is locked at its upper circuit limit of Rs. 438.35, up by 20.85 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 417.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 438.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 438.35 and Rs. 435.00 respectively. So far 130368 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 438.35 on 21-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 204.60 on 14-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 438.35 and Rs. 386.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13315.08 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.66%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.71% and 34.63% respectively.

Genus Power Infrastructures’ wholly owned subsidiary has received three Letter of Awards (LOAs) worth totaling to Rs 3,608.52 crore (net of taxes) for appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers (AMISPs) including design of Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system with supply, installation and commissioning with FMS of about 4.26 million Smart Prepaid Meters, system meters including DT Meters with corresponding energy accounting on DBFOOT basis.

Earlier, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary had received three Letter of Awards worth totalling to Rs 2,925.52 crore (net of taxes). 

Genus Power Infrastructures (GPIL) is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electronic energy meters, power distribution management projects, hybrid microcircuits, inverters, batteries, home UPS and online UPS in India and abroad.
