Franklin Templeton MF introduces India Short Term Fund

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund (MF) has launched Franklin India Short Term Fund, an open-ended short-term debt scheme investing in instruments such that the Macaulay duration of the portfolio is between 1 year to 3 years. The NFO opens for subscription on August 05, 2026 and closes on August 11, 2026. The Entry Load is not applicable and the Exit load is nil for the scheme. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Rs. 1 thereafter.

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked to NIFTY Short Duration Debt Index A-II and its fund managers are Rohan Maru, Anuj Tagra and Rahul Goswami.

The investment objective of the Scheme is to achieve optimal returns over the short term by investing in a diversified set of debt and money market securities.
