Franklin Templeton MF introduces India Low Duration Fund

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has launched Franklin India Low Duration Fund, an open-ended Low duration debt scheme investing in instruments such that the Macaulay duration of the portfolio is between 6 months to 12 months. The NFO opens for subscription on February 25, 2025 and closes on March 5, 2025. The Entry Load is not applicable and the Exit Load is nil for the scheme. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter.

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked at NIFTY Low Duration Debt Index A-I and its fund managers are Chandni Gupta and Rahul Goswami.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income by investing in debt and money market instruments, with Macaulay duration of the portfolio between 6 to 12 months.
