Fortis Healthcare gains as its arm inks lease agreement with RR Lifesciences

Fortis Healthcare is currently trading at Rs. 933.00, up by 8.15 points or 0.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 924.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 934.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 934.95 and Rs. 920.20 respectively. So far 5038 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 971.00 on 21-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 521.05 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 934.95 and Rs. 904.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 69875.15 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 56.96% and 11.87% respectively.
Fortis Healthcare’s wholly owned subsidiary -- International Hospital (IHL) has entered into a 15-year lease agreement with RR Lifesciences for an around 200-bed fully operational multi-specialty hospital in Greater Noida. The company had been previously managing the facility under an Operations & Management (O&M) arrangement since its launch in October 2022 and will continue to operate the facility as Fortis Hospital Greater Noida under the new lease arrangement.
With the above, the company will assume complete operational and financial control, allowing it to consolidate the hospital’s performance within its network. The hospital is built on a 1.35-acre UPSIDA-leased land parcel with 2.7 lakh sq. ft. of built-up area. The facility has the potential to expand capacity by an additional 50 beds within the existing set-up; taking the total to around 250 beds. Strategically located, it is well connected by the Greater Noida Expressway, Metro (Aqua line), Yamuna Expressway, and Eastern Peripheral Expressway, and is 34 km from the upcoming Jewar International Airport.
