Footwear stocks trade higher after government announces focus scheme for footwear, leather sectors

Stocks of Footwear companies are trading higher, after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that focus product scheme for footwear and leather sectors. The scheme is expected to facilitate employment for 22 lakh persons, generate turnover of Rs 4 lakh crore and exports of over Rs 1.1 lakh crore.
Campus Activewear is currently trading at Rs. 293.45, up by 20.85 points or 7.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 272.60 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 275.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 314.95 and Rs. 273.35 respectively. So far 206654 shares were traded on the counter.
Bata India is currently trading at Rs. 1338.80, up by 44.50 points or 3.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 1294.30 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1327.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1343.85 and Rs. 1288.40 respectively. So far 23586 shares were traded on the counter.
Redtape is currently trading at Rs. 690.95, up by 15.95 points or 2.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 675.00 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 680.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 703.10 and Rs. 664.20 respectively. So far 13309 shares were traded on the counter.
