FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 30 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 24136.43 crore against gross selling of Rs 34334.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10198.25 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1878.91 crore against gross sales of Rs 4647.16 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2768.25 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 376.29 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 260.08 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2131.88 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 490.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 313.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 176.81 crore in hybrid segment.
