FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 28 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12686.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 16249.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3563.88 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 496.92 crore against gross sales of Rs 1176.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 679.28 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 207.61 crore, Debt-VRR segment at Rs 108.60 crore, and Debt-FAR segment at Rs 363.07 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 36.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 15.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 21.74 crore in hybrid segment.
