FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 26 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segments, while net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15768.75 crore against gross selling of Rs 16405.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 636.66 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2790.9 crore with gross sales of Rs 1782.39 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1008.51 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 36.95 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 73.07 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1044.63 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 75.66 crore against gross selling of Rs 14.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 61.21 crore in hybrid segment.
