FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 25 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segments, while net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22005.49 crore against gross selling of Rs 23459.58 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1454.09 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2106.33 crore with gross sales of Rs 1433.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 672.64 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 253.59 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 370.48 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 48.57 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 44.57 crore against gross selling of Rs 38.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5.94 crore in hybrid segment.
