FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 23 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11139.92 crore against gross selling of Rs 13733.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2593.45 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 939.82 crore with gross sales of Rs 1178.51 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 238.69 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 222.98 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 277.14 crore and in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 184.53 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 27.14 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 0.53 crore in hybrid segment.
