FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 16 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13663.80 crore against gross selling of Rs 16769.56 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3105.76 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 958.26 crore with gross sales of Rs 3417.84 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2459.58 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 522.24 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 524.91 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2456.91 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 39.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 36.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3.16 crore in hybrid segment.
