FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 10 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 17034.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 18061.55 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1027.28 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1268.12 crore with gross sales of Rs 1749.97 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 481.85 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 569.93 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 816.07 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 235.71 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14.81 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.00 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 3.81 crore in hybrid segment.
