FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 07 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13067.24 crore against gross selling of Rs 19516.98 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6449.74 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1674.09 crore with gross sales of Rs 1411.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 262.24 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 503.43 crore, while they were net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 750.41 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 15.26 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 66.02 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.93 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 49.09 crore in hybrid segment.
