FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 21 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12969.00 crore against gross selling of Rs 18112.98 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5143.98 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 991.54 crore with gross sales of Rs 1066.65 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 75.11 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 334.43 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 197.77 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 457.09 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4.86 crore against gross selling of Rs 2.72 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2.14 crore in hybrid segment.
