FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 14 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13687.01 crore against gross selling of Rs 15123.42 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1436.41 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2085.38 crore with gross sales of Rs 2279.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 194.53 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 818.37 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 690.08 crore and in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 322.82 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13.51 crore against gross selling of Rs 22.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9.40 crore in hybrid segment.
